The May 3, 1999 Oklahoma-Kansas Tornado Outbreak produced a total of 74 tornadoes across the two states, including the devastating EF5 tornado that struck the Oklahoma City suburbs.
Fatalities and Injuries
The tornadoes on May 3-4, 1999, caused the tragic deaths of 40 people in Oklahoma and injured another 675. Numerous homes and businesses were also damaged or destroyed.
