WEB Espgaluda II Gets Region-Free Physical Cart For Nintendo Switch

Japanese arcade game publisher CAVE has been creating high-quality vertically scrolling shooters for years. These often feature bright, colorful visuals, bullet-hell style gameplay, and fantastic boss battles. While most of these games remain available only in the arcade in their native Japan, the developers have been slowly making some available through modern consoles. WEB Espgaluda II is an arcade-style shootem up which was released in arcades in 2005. It is the 2nd game in the Espgaluda series and was developed by the company's famous shooting game brand, CAVE. While a PlayStation port was released in 2009, this marks the first time that the game will be available on Nintendo's newest console.

For a limited time (August 14), you can pre-order the game via Limited Run Games. The physical edition of WEB Espgaluda II is available for $34.99. This is a region-free physical cart release for the Nintendo Switch.
